Infinite Tai Chi

I realise that I have a body, mind and spirit, and the idea is to unify these energies, and to express ourselves as a whole being.

The body is our material, visible side. Because that is what most people see, they relate to the body (and material things) and think that it is the body which is in charge. Little do they realise that without the mind the body would do very little. As beautiful as the body can be, without the mind, it will not get very far. It would be like a robot without my instructions.

DNATo most people, the mind is like a dot stuck in the head. Although they use the mind, they never think about the mind. People can relate better to a cloud, more than the mind, because it is more abstract. So this intangible mind works our tangible body.

We could even say that the mind (energy) is more real than the body.

Also the mind is very powerful and can make the difference in succeeding or not, in various daily activities and sports and arts. Because we don't see the mind, people find it hard to relate to the mind.

They usually care about how their bodies look, but are unaware of how their minds are.
What controls and influences the mind? It is the spirit. This is even less tangible than the mind. Yet the spirit is even more powerful because it is linked to the Universe (God). Because many people don't take very good care of their bodies, think little about the mind and even less about the spirit, they don't realise that they are caught up in the worries and anxieties of every day life. Doing the same old thing, in the same old way - then dying - such is their life.

Because I have been working on co-ordinating body, mind and spirit for over thirty five years I have gained some insights, and appreciate the deeper aspects of life.

The philosophy that is taught here in this system is very deep, inspiring, mind boggling and downright over the top at times and I love it. I let the information sink in to the level that I can understand.

Also I know that the other information will leave its seeds and come out at the right time.

Even what I think I understand, will become even clearer as time goes on.

For a long time now I knew that the posture for meditation is a very powerful thing and needs plenty of energy to sustain it. But now through the Infinite Tai Chi system, I really know how powerful the posture needs to be.

Little by little I am grasping more of the points and the feelings. The pulling up and pulling in from the base centre still needs some work.
If there are any problems in that area, these are certainly good exercises to do. Even before coming into this system, I used to do something like this.

The fact that it is being emphasised more, is even better for me and it makes a lot of sense. In my case I kneel a lot and if it wasn't for the pulling up - then gravity would pull the insides down - leading to piles etc.

PurposeMy analogy of any stable posture is like a spinning top spinning very fast on a tiny point. The more energy that it has, the more stable it is. As the energy gets less, the top begins to wobble. As the energy becomes less, the top will fall down. When it falls down - I call this dead relaxation and it has no power.

When the top is spinning very fast, I call this living relaxation (dynamic) - this is more powerful. If it is touched, it will move instantly.

When I meditate this helps me to understand where my energy levels are. If I am upright and feel stable, then I know that my energy levels are good.

If I start to wobble and the odd time, I have nearly fallen over, then I know my energy levels are low, and then I rest or do something else.

Now I understand better the beginning and end sequence of the meditation, the opening and closing sequences. Also reaching up to bring down the Heaven Light.

As energy follows thought, our energy becomes more tangible with practice.

The chakras which open up like petals for meditation and higher energy work.

All the different kinds of meditation which helps us to go into deeper aspects of ourselves. We are so full of blocks and congestion that we need help to calm ourselves down, to clear ourselves, so that our inner light has room to appear.

Also to allow all the energies around us to make themselves more known and visible. Such as the earth and its elements, the Universe and its energies too.

Because the Universe (God) is limitless and has unlimited power in Absolutely every aspect, our nervous system and energy circuits have to be in good condition for us to accept more of its power.

Most people have no idea of the power that they are dealing with, trying to get this mighty flow of the Universe into their little cups - their bodies.

The Universe has given me the opportunity to study the Infinite Tai Chi system (I love this name) to give me more wisdom, knowledge and understanding.

Also to discipline and strengthen me in many varied and interesting ways.

So I am very thankful for this.
The closing down of the chakras (petals) is good, so as not to allow outside negativities to enter, and there are certainly lots of those about.

WaterfallThe Tai Chi form itself is developing to the point where I am feeling more comfortable in getting from one to five.

At the time of writing this, we have only gone through half of sequence five with explanation, so I am still trying to work this out properly. The names are a very big help to know what is happening in the form. The moon rising, Dragons wings, sun, fire water, ocean waves etc are such a big help to put it all together. It is like a big moving mythical story.

The Universe is very awesome, magical and creative, and I feel that these are just some of the qualities which we are being made aware of.
